L'Aigle à Deux Têtes - Les Clous Naturé – Savagnin 2023

Henri Le Roy is a former biologist who in 2005 moved to Jura to start L’Aigle à Deux Têtes (Two-headed Eagle). 

The Les Clous vineyard is a south-facing vineyard looking over thevillage of Val-Sonnette. Whites from here show great power and depth. All the hallmarks of top Jura Savagnin with
preserved lemon and gentle spice aromas.

Henri’s vines are farmed without synthetic chemicals (but not certified), topped up (ouillé) style with no additions apart from SO2 at bottling. Stylistically, these wines fall somewhere between classic Burgundy and minimal intervention Jura wines.
