Chapuis et Chapuis Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2022 - 3 ONLY

The Chapius brothers own a few rows of vines in the legendary Corton Charlemagne. The parcel is just in front of the famous cross where Burgundy fans go to take selfies in the vineyard in the 'Le Charlemagne'. The vines have the perfect south facing exposition and have been farmed meticulously by Romain Chapuis and his team. 

One barrel of this wine gets made each vintage, the winemaking style of Chapuis et Chapuis is all about gentle presses, lots of lees to add texture, none or very little new oak, minimal fining and filtration and no additions apart from SO2 added after malo and at bottling. Grand Cru intensity but approachable young.
